Air Quality Data

The Air Quality Program provides both historic air quality data and live data from around the county. Data is collected by the Monitoring and Source Testing Program and assessed to better understand air composition. The Planning and Data Assessment program uses the data for modeling and analysis purposes. Both programs send data and analysis to the PA Department of Environmental Protection and the US Environmental Protection Agency.

Air Quality Index

This dashboard is updated hourly, every day of the year for fine particulate matter (PM2.5), sulfur dioxide (SO2), and ozone (O3). The dashboard is interactive by location, pollutant, and time period.

H2S and Emissions Inventory Dashboards

This page has two dashboards, the emissions inventory dashboard and the hydrogen sulfide dashboard. The emissions inventory dashboard has emissions data from the last 10+ year and allows users to look at different facilities and pollutants over a selected timeframe. The hydrogen sulfide dashboard provides real time data on H2S levels in Allegheny County.
