The Air Quality Program works with citizens and industry to help protect public health to reach the goal of having the cleanest air.

The ACHD wants residents to have access to information on air quality in real time via the Air Quality Dashboard. The data is from the continuous monitors within the monitoring network across Allegheny County and projects the current Air Quality Index (AQI). Feedback is welcome from residents, as public interest is critical to improving air quality in the county. Ask questions, voice concerns, or file complaint, to let the program know, and the staff will investigate accordingly.
