Economic Development

Carrie Blast Furnaces

From projects as far-reaching and complex as revitalizing the landmark Carrie Blast Furnaces site (pictured aboveto the personal home improvement dreams of a single resident, Allegheny County Economic Development (ACED) helps businesses and communities thrive.

ACED's division structure allows personnel to develop their specialties while at the same time working seamlessly with other divisions. This collaboration provides the greatest impact as ACED meets the community's wide-ranging needs. Ensuring that the county has access to affordable housing is just one example of the impactful work that ACED does.
