Pooches in the Pool

Doggy paddle, play fetch, and splash around with the other pups at the annual end-of-summer celebration, Pooches in the Pool!

Join the Allegheny County Parks Department and lots of furry friends on Monday, September 2, 2024 from 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm at the pools in Boyce, North, and Settlers Cabin Parks. Due to the installation of a new pool liner, this event will not be hosted at South Park wave pool this year.

Tickets are $20.00 per dog for Allegheny County residents, and each dog can be accompanied by up to two guardians. Only one dog per guardian will be permitted. Additional guardians and guests can pay a $5.00 admission fee (per person) at the gate for entry. 

All dogs must wear current tags displaying up-to-date vaccinations prior to entering the event and pool area. Electronic or paper proof of vaccinations can also be presented to staff upon entering the facility. 

Events are weather-permitting and in the event of inclement weather, please check the Allegheny County Parks Facebook page for updates.
