Radio Control Airplane
Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) Membership is required for use of the fields.
Boyce Park
Boyce Park is located beyond the Four Season Ski Lodge on Centerview Drive. The radio controlled airplane field is exclusively used by the Gateway Radio Control Society Inc.
North Park
North Park is located 1/4 mile off Walters Road on Municipal Lane - from either end of Walters Road, drive to the highest elevation. The Roosevelt shelter and the big flag pole are landmarks near the two-lane asphalt road leading to the field.
The area has a shelter, for working on aircraft, on one side of the road and a parking lot. The grassy field on the other side of the road is separated by a split rail fence. Spectators are to remain on the road side of the fence, flyers on the grassy side. No vehicles are permitted on the field, not even RC vehicles.
The North Hills Eagle Squadron maintains the field and are the most frequent flyers. Members are happy to help newcomers to the sport and serious flyers might want to join. Please email for more information.
Hours of Operation

South Park
South Park is located behind the fairgrounds, on Sesqui Drive, the field sports tables for working on aircraft, an asphalt runway, a grass field, a pavilion and benches for spectators. The South Park Area Radio Kontrol Club (S.P.A.R.K.) is a good source of information about the field, RC airplanes, and the sport in general.
