Satellite Office at Soldiers and Sailors Opens Tomorrow for 3 Days

PITTSBURGH – Monday, October 14 – Today the Allegheny County Elections Division reminded voters of up upcoming satellite election office hours and locations and other important election information. The deadline to register to vote is one week away, October 21, 2024. People can check their voter registration status here and register to vote here.

This Tuesday through Thursday (October 15, 16, and 17) there will be a satellite election office at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall in Oakland. At a satellite election office, voters can register to vote, apply for a mail in ballot and vote it on the spot (also known as “over the counter” voting). Voters can also take a mail in ballot home to return at a later date, and voters can return a completed mail-in ballot. The hours at Soldiers and Sailors will be 8 am – 4 pm on Oct 15, 16, and 17.  

This weekend (October 19 and 20) and next weekend (October 26 and 27) satellite elections offices will be at CCAC-Homewood, North Park and South Park, as well as the County Office Building downtown. The satellite election offices will be open on both weekends from 9 am to 5 pm both Saturday and Sunday.

As a reminder to the public and members of the media, photography and filming inside of polling places is prohibited. Voters may only request ballots for themselves and return their own ballots.
