PITTSBURGH – The Department of Public Works announced today that Baileys Run Road between Freeport Road and the Route 28 ramp in East Deer has reopened to traffic. The closure, which began on July 31, 2024, was required for construction of a retaining wall, drainage improvements, milling and paving, and replacement of pavement markings.

Baileys Run Road is used by an average of 4,363 drivers daily.

The $1.5 million project, which also involved construction of another retaining wall along Baileys Run Road earlier this year, was done by Pugliano Construction Company, Inc., of Plum.
