Today County Executive Sara Innamorato named four new board members to the Pittsburgh Regional Transit board of directors. Two of the seats require approval from County Council and two are appointed directly by the Executive.
“These appointments to PRT’s board meet my commitment to bring the perspective of riders and people with expertise on mobility and accessibility to this body. I want to thank everyone who previously served on the board for their service. And I want to thank the new directors for agreeing to serve their community. Transit is a critical issue for economic development, prosperity, and equity, and I have faith these directors will help PRT deliver for riders across the county,” said County Executive Sara Innamorato.
