Employee Wellness Rewards Program

Employee Wellness

Members who complete the Wellness Rewards Program between February 1 and August 31 are eligible to receive $125 or an extra day off but cannot be used prior to the day before Thanksgiving.

If you work for a department that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, you are eligible for the $125 bonus only. This includes the Kane Community Living Centers, County Jail, 911, Police and the Courts.

You must be a current employee of Allegheny County in order to receive your reward.

For Both Highmark and UPMC

  • All activities for wellness points must be completed by August 31.
  • Your physical exam has to be dated on or before August 31 to be eligible for credit.

Completing the Wellness Program

Earn 150 Wellness Points 

Step 1.Wellness Questionnaire

Earn 25 points for completing the Highmark Health Assessment or the UPMC MyHealth Questionnaire.

Step 2.Get a Physical

Earn 25 points for reporting your annual physical exam.  If you had an annual physical from September 1, 2023 through August 31, 2024, it should be reported for credit towards your Wellness Incentive.

Step 3.Health & Wellness Programs

Earn an additional 100 points by completing a variety of other wellness activities.

  • Note: All wellness activities are self-reported. Credit will be given by the carrier once a program is completed.
  • All activities must be completed/reported by August 31 to be eligible to receive the Wellness Incentive.
