Senior Deputy Director of Public Outreach and Staff Development
Sarah E. Linder Marx joined the Allegheny County Office of the Public Defender in 2020. Since then, she has represented both adults and children through all stages of the criminal legal process. She currently serves as the Senior Deputy of Community Outreach and Staff Development.
Sarah graduated with her Bachelor’s degree from Hofstra University with majors in Political Science and Global Studies. She earned her Master of Public Management degree from Carnegie Mellon University, and her Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law with concentrations in Government, and Public Service and Community Engagement. While at Duquesne Law, Sarah was the managing editor of the Joule Environmental Law Journal, student manager of the Civil Rights Clinic, and worked part time in civil legal aid.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys watching and performing comedy as well as spending time with her family and two cats, Opal and Othello.
