A Celebration of Life, Love and Pride

 

This special evening was dedicated to bringing people together to celebrate and preserve the life stories of people with disabilities in southwestern Pennsylvania.

 

Voices of Our Region premiered its Oral History DVD November 20 to a warm and appreciative audience. Speakers Dee Delaney, Marc Cherna, Judy Barricella, Athena Aardweg, Tony Buby, and Pam Kovac each told a different experience and perspective with this project. A short compilation highlighted several Voices and will be available here soon.

 

A Sincere "Thank You" to all who participated in this true labor of love, from the producers, funders, professionals and organizations to the interviewees and their families. Without each of your and your dedication this project would not be available to educate, encourage and inspire others.
