Allegheny County Parks
The Allegheny County Parks system, comprised of nine parks and 12,000 acres is a regional treasure enjoyed by more than 11 million visitors annually. The regional parks ring the City of Pittsburgh along the highway route of the orange belt, at a radius of about 15 miles from downtown Pittsburgh. No Allegheny County resident is more than a 20 or 30 minute drive from a county park.
The parks' mix of recreational activities, cultural and educational programming, special events and greenways, provide a myriad of recreational opportunities.

Enjoy ice skating, golf or tennis at North and South Parks; summer concerts at Hartwood; a swim in the wave pool at Settlers Cabin; the animal farm at Round Hill; skiing at Boyce Park, fishing at Deer Lakes Park, or the stunning beauty of fall as you stroll through White Oak or Harrison Hills Parks.

Whatever your recreation preference may be, the Allegheny County parks are open 365 days a year for the enjoyment of our residents and guests.
