REMINDER: Crawford Run Road in East Deer to Close Starting on Monday

The Department of Public Works announced that part of the 400 block of Crawford Run Road in East Deer will close starting at 9 a.m. on Monday, June 8, 2026. The closure, which is expected to end in October, is required to replace a culvert named Crawford Run Road Bridge No. 3.

The Department of Public Works announced today that it has granted a permit to TransYOUniting to close the Roberto Clemente (Sixth Street) Bridge in Pittsburgh for the Pittsburgh Pride March. The closure will be from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 7, 2026.

Traveling Glass Recycling

Glass bottles and jars are 100% recyclable and can be recycled for reuse endlessly without losing any quality! The traveling glass bin will be at each location for nearly a month, available daily from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. All colors of glass are accepted; containers must be empty; caps, lids, and labels are okay.
